I really enjoyed speaking to a couple of psychology classes at Corner Canyon High School last week. The students were amazing, asked many great questions, and a few visited with me after class. Thanks to Danielle Dahl and her students!

Psychology class is my favorite when I'm still studying. It's hard to figure out the behavior of a human being. Like how our behavior changes from one moment to another. Like how different man from woman and in between. It's a wonder how our mind and our body works. It's an endless study because once you figure out one's behavior then there's something new again that will come and everything is back to zero.

Psychology as a separate field of study grew out of several other disciplines, both scientific and non-scientific. It is natural for humans to have contradicting opinions but it is completely unjustifiable on their part to solve this contradiction by forcing opinions. When opinions are forced upon, some people might simply accept it, during the process of which they lose their identity, while others might retaliate. I think that a great many wars and tribulations of people could be avoided if we showed more respect for each other and our individual beliefs. I feel that psychology should be viewed as a science, even if it does not concur with traditional scientific specifications.
